Celonis is the global leader in execution management. The Celonis Execution Management System provides companies with a modern way to run their business processes entirely on data and intelligence. Celonis pioneered the process mining category 10 years ago when they first developed the ability to automatically X-ray processes and find inefficiencies.

Being headquartered in Germany, Celonis was looking to expand their existing team in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to dramatically increase headcount to keep up with their hyper-growth.

Despite having an extensive, local, internal recruitment team - Celonis also opted to work with multiple recruitment agencies to feed their candidate pipelines with volume.

This, however, was not proving successful. The number of low-level candidates was more of a hindrance than a help.

After approaching Oakstone International and successfully completing an initial trial, Oakstone became the exclusive recruiter to provide Celonis with high-quality people within the German and Swiss markets for strategic, Enterprise sales roles – meaning we were the primary partner for sourcing external candidates in Germany, for this German-based company.

Oakstone International took the time to get to know Celonis’ history, culture, existing team and plans to understand the people they were aiming to hire.

Once Oakstone fully understood the criteria, we identified and targeted the right people using specialist executive search methods. We then took the time to speak to each potential candidate to find out their career situations and to qualify whether they were suitable for the roles we were hiring for. The time Oakstone invested into qualifying the candidates enabled us to put forward the very best CV’s to the internal hiring managers at Celonis, which they could then facilitate interviews with.

This meant Celonis didn’t need to work with multiple recruiters that provided different levels of quality candidates, in different formats and all with different needs. Oakstone’s strategy meant Celonis could source all their candidates from one trusted partner, improving all candidate experiences, increasing the quality of hires and saving both hiring managers and the internal talent acquisition team time to focus on other aspects of their business.

After the successful completion of building the necessary teams across Europe, Oakstone International assisted Celonis to build their internal recruitment team and they then took all hiring in-house again.  Celonis continues to grow and recently received a Series D funding round of $1B.
