Tell us something interesting about yourself?

I’ve built and now maintain an algorithm that works for me when I’m working (arguably for it!).

What attracted you to the world of recruitment?

How much time you spend talking to people and the ability to have a life-changing impact on candidates. Also, the atmosphere at Oakstone, and the fact that you can get out what you put in.

What were your initial thoughts on Oakstone International?

Friendly atmosphere, but with a busy and determined feel to it.

What is some advice you would give to someone who is going for an interview?

Everyone says be yourself, so I would say ask them interesting questions, they’ll be happy to answer.

What are three questions every candidate should ask in an interview?

  • How do you ensure that consistent results are achieved? There will hopefully be a lot of detail in the answer!

  • What would you say is the most attractive feature of working at the company?

  • What is the realistic but potential career progression ahead?

What are three questions every hiring manager should ask in an interview?

  • How do you spend the time you save free for personal activities?

  • What is your biggest motivator and demotivator?

  • What is your super-strength and what is the negative side of this strength?

What advice would you give to hiring managers?

Try to see past the numbers attached to a candidate and ask about the core values that drove their performance. That way you can understand more about the process a candidate employs, instead of the outcome which can be affected by many variables.

Why should companies work with Oakstone International?

Oakstone will go a mile further.
